Aymeric & Alexis

We are prouldy supporting the "Steppe FM" Project conducted by two of our staff members Aymeric and Alexis. Both came back to our team last February to work with us for two weeks! Aymeric and Alexis are part of an association called Les Vents de la Récolte, which seeks to become an actor in ecological transition by promoting slow travel and community resilience projects around the world. Further to a first success in 2018 with a project whose mission was the plantation of 6’000 fruit trees in communities while travelling from Vietnam to France by bike, they decided to repeat the adventure, this time by leading the project “Steppe FM”.The "Steppe FM" expedition links France to Mongolia, crossing Central Asia without using engine. They will therefore travel by bike, on foot with a donkey and on horseback, and will sleep in their teepee or at homestay for three years.

If their adventure is that long, it is because they will stop along the way, in order to support structures with an environmental purpose. Among these organizations, they chose for example the association "Low-Tech for refugee" which helps exiles at the Franco-Italian border, or the association "Keshmoon" in Iran, which is developing a fair-trade platform for local saffron micro-producers.

As you may know, realizing such environmental projects generates significant costs. This is why we strongly encourage you to have a look to their project, and to help them by making a donation (believe us, these two young men have their hearts on their hands, they deserve our support!)

We already miss their good mood and free minds… We wish them great success in their project!
